Old Orchard Inn
Perched above the Annapolis Valley with sweeping views of orchards, vineyards, and the Minas Basin, the Old Orchard Inn has been a Wolfville icon since 1972. So when this beloved inn began a new chapter under community-minded Nova Scotian ownership, we were proud to be invited in—not just as contractors, but as friends, of course. Our work focused on the heart of the experience: the lobby and the Acadian Dining Room. Our goal was to refresh these spaces while keeping them timeless, welcoming, and true to the Inn’s rustic charm. The lobby now greets guests with a warmer hello, while the Acadian Dining Room shines with historic wooden beams and an open-hearth fireplace that feels equal parts cozy and grand. We also installed nearly 300 solar panels, generating about 120,000 kWh annually, helping power this Valley landmark into its next 50 years. The payoff? Restaurant profits have quadrupled, locals are thrilled, and visitors are lingering. Turns out, when a place feels this good, people stick around. Here’s to old friends, fresh chapters, and a Valley classic doing what it does best.
